Idee, idee tante troppe idee ....../ ideas, ideas so many too many ideas .......

Se salire e scendere dalle ripide scale può sembrare poco compatibile con la nostra cultura dell' abitare, allora non vedo l'ora di vedere le mie bimbe che si aggirano curiose per la casa. La saletta sarà il cuore della casa,  illuminata dalle grandi finestre,  spazio di affaccio e scoperta,  organizzata in angoli dedicati:  musica, lettura, creazioni e giochi-visioni. Poi dal terrazzo ci si inerpica fino al tetto- giardino: una stanza a cielo aperto per dominare la cittadina. Spero che la possibilità di esplorare ed interpretare gli spazi, ispiri a tutti un grande senso di libertà e di benessere.

To running up and down the stairs hardly may seem compatible with our living culture, but i can't wait to see my girls hanging around the house with curiosity. The lounge will be the heart of the house, illuminated by wide windows, a space of view and discovery, organised in dedicated corners: music, reading, designs and play-visions. Than from the terrace you go deeper into the garden roof: an open air room to dominate the town. I hope that the chance to explore and play these spaces let everyone inspiring a great sense of freedom and wellbeing.

Si è appena conclusa la fiera CERSAIE, con l'esposizione di tanti prodotti espressione di ottimo design e tecnologia applicata. Veramente c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta, se avete intenzione di ristrutturare la vostra casa: pavimenti e rivestimenti strepitosi, eccone qualche esempio:

The CERSAIE fair has just ended, showing a lot of products, expression of excellent design and applied technology. Really there is pick of the bunch, if you're going to remodel your home: flooring and coatings are fabulous, here is some examples:

A lesson in life, not only in architecture! I report you the deepest and strikest expressions:

• "The architect role is to discover the ways to adapt to the environment."
• The architect advises us not to design own house, but to design the client's one, then to  buy back years after! (too late for me!)
• "Try to keep the simplicity: it is the other side of complexity. It's the simplicity that contains the whole thing as simply as possible."
• In the design we have to keep a "fresh thought that is based on the past."

Una lezione di vita, non solo di architettura! Riporto le espressioni più vive e coinvolgenti:

• "Il ruolo dell'architetto è scoprire modi per adattarsi all'ambiente."
• L'architetto consiglia di non progettare la propria casa, ma di progettarne una per il proprio cliente, poi di comprarla anni dopo! (troppo tardi per me!)
• "Cercate di mantenere la semplicità: è l'altro aspetto della complessità. E' la semplicità che racchiude il tutto nel modo più semplice possibile."
• Nella progettazione occorre mantenere un "pensiero fresco che fonda sul passato."

Bioclimatic study - Studio bioclimatico

Now we study how the various natural and artificial elements can influence the building's functioning to make the building energetically sustainable and with an inner healthy microclimate. The natural elements are climate type, the prevalent winds and the atmospheric pressure, the content of dust, CO2, water vapour etc. in the air, the solar radiation, very important!, and the thermal reflective of the ground. As artificial elements we consider the building's type, its construction materials as also installations until forniture.

Per rendere l'edificio energeticamente sostenibile e con un microclima interno salubre, si studiano come i vari elementi naturali ed artificiali possono condizionare il funzionamento dell'edificio. Gli elementi naturali sono il tipo di clima, i venti prevalenti e la pressione atmosferica, il contenuto di polveri, CO2, vapore acqueo etc. nell'aria, la radiazione solare, importantissima!, e la riflessione termica del suolo. Come elementi artificiali consideriamo dalla tipologia dell'edificio e dei suoi materiali da costruzione agli impianti fino ai mobili.

HOME SWEET HOME

Everyone wishs a piece of himself in this house: to express his needs, ideas and passion.

Ognuno desidera un pezzo di se in questa casa: per esprimere le proprie esigenze, idee e passioni.

And now how can we renovate our house?! E ora come ristrutturiamo la nostra casa?!

First: we must study the load-bearing structure, the static and earthquake safety of the building. In this case the building is based on reinforced concrete underwall foundations (not present in all cases in buildings from that time); the load-bearing structure consists in semi-solid brickwork, in brick and concrete floors and roofing, made on site and set on reinforced concrete tie-beam. Only one wall structure's been compromised in terms of the earthquake-proof.

Second: thanks to this restrained design approach, I want to highlight and to retain the original details of the construction: high ceilings, wide windows, basic space. That's all!

Primo: studiare la struttura portante dell'edificio, la sicurezza statica e sismica. Nel mio caso l'edificio fonda su fondazioni in cemento armato (non sempre presenti in edifici di quel periodo); la struttura portante è formata dalla muratura in mattoni semipieni, da solai di piano e di copertura in laterocemento gettati in opera, fissati su travi perimetrali in cemento armato. Solo una struttura muraria è compromessa dal punto di vista antisismico.

Secondo: grazie ad un approcio progettuale conciso, voglio evidenziare e conservare i dettagli costruttivi originali: soffitti alti, ampie finestrature,spazi minimali.  Questo è tutto!
